Birthday Fun!

Yep, that's right! Our little guy has turned the big "1"!! Our little man is such a stud and we are so thankful for everything about him! We just love being his parents! He was so lucky to get 3 little parties... We started off with a party for the friends (obviously, this was more for Cesar and I, but we have such great friends out here that love Milo so we needed to have it!)... Then we had the family over for a little bit o' fun.... and then we flew to Utah where another little party was put together to celebrate Milo's entrance into manhood... Oh wait, let me not get ahead of myself, he only turned 1!

Theses days, Milo...
-weighs 20lbs and measures 30 inches in length
-has a fairly large head at 47 cm around... (Dr. Chi is utterly amazed at how perfectly shaped his large head is, and still thinks that he is a "Numba 1 Baby!")
-loves talking... he says "mama," "dada," "boo," "uh-oh," and makes lots of other little sounds... he is very chatty when playing with his toys, and tries to repeat what we say (at least the syllables, obviously not the words).
-loves walking around with his toys... though he is not walking on his own,he loves that he has toys that allow him that freedom.
-loves taking things "out" and putting them back "in"
-loves looking at books.
-LOVES playing with his drum or just banging his drumstix on anything and everything that makes a noise.
Milo is our favorite pal. He makes us laugh everyday! We love, so much, watching him grow and develop... What a fantastic ride this has been!

The Birthday Boy

The peeps... There were deifinitely more kids there, but I stink at taking pics!

Let him eat cake... He wasn't the biggest fan of actually eating it, but he did enjoy demolishing it!

Proud Parents

This is the cake I made for the family gathering... I made cupcakes for the previous party... Clearly, I am no cake decorator!

This is in Utah and my brother's house... My sister-in-law made some cupcakes and a cake... Again, Milo wasn't exactly keen on eating the cake, but he did enjoy smashing it... You can see that my little niece had no problems eating her cupcake, and she wanted to do it "sans hands!" Oh, I forgot a bib for Milo so he got to wear his cousin's pretty flower one, lol.
